5.7 and 4l80e trans unsure what bin.

I have a 1995 K2500 5.7L that i put into a 1996 k3500 that had the diesel 6.5 in it. The 95 had the ecm 16197427 BJYL. The original truck had the 4l60e transmission and the newer truck that the engine went into has the 4l80e. I'm looking at prob either a OE or 31 bin file but I'm unsure what to start off with. This is not going to be anything too special, delivering firewood, work truck etc. It does have a lower stall converter at 1800 but from the research i read it should be fine. Anyways any help pointing me in the right direction would be great.

BNKM is what is in the 1-ton 350/4L80E vans as well. Just add the input shaft speed sensor wiring and move a few pins around in the transmission connector and you are good to go. On the Express I had to extend the harness for the transmission to reach the driverside.

Thanks for the help, i will give the stock BNKM bin a try and see how that works. I already did the pin swap before the engine went in and the input shaft sensor as well.

TunerPro has a compare feature. Load the compare .bin file ~ From the tools menu select difference tool.

That would be BCC Broadcast Code when comparing in the same Mask. Mask is the overall roadmap that shows us where the Parameters are!
