    win aldl

Hello. I have a 1991 GMC K1500 pickup that is not running right after a new installation. Would you be able to look at the data and provide some advice?. If not, perhaps you could refer me to someone who can. I am currently using the win aldl set up. Everything looks ok to me, but I am a long ways from being an expert. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

WinALDL was awesome in it's day. I consider WinALDL obsolete. TunerPro RT has eclipsed WinALDL with more information and better graphics, see attached screen shots.

Thanks for the reply. I have downloaded tuner pro but have yet to figure out how to get started. I definitely would like to see more detail. Being an older truck I have changed or replaced just about everything over the years, so I'm reluctant to do anything. I will spend more time with tuner pro this week and hopefully get the program started. Thanks Again.

I do not know the four letter code off hand, but the number I have been using for logs is 1227747.

I'm having a little trouble with the basic set up for Tuner Pro RT. For now I am only looking at gathering data from the ECM for analysis. Two basic questions. 1) should the file be .adx or .ads, or is one a sub category of the other?. 2) how would I know if I downloaded the correct file?. At present I can connect the cable; it show's connected, but the fields listed will not populate with data. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Tunerpro V4 uses ADS files whereas TP V5 uses ADX files.

Thanks for the advice. I will check to make sure I am using the lasted version. There is also two locations on the Tuner Pro web site with OBD 1 files. I think this confused me. Thanks again.
