    Scaler-Engine Type

Working on my van conversion project which you can read about in detail under the ODBII Tuning Forum. You can find the Posts under my name and read posts.
Starting to go through and modify my tables to match my application and figured any questions I have are better suited to this sub-forum as I am using TunerProRT.

    1. Scaler-Engine Type: Says table should not be modified but gives engine options so I changed it to match 5.7. Was this wrong? Should I put it back to 6.0 even though I'm actually running an L31 5.7?

    2. Scaler Table G1204 and G1205 for Tach High and Low Pulses- The 6.0 bin has the number 6 in both tables with says it is normally used for 4 cylinders. Should it not be number 3 which is normally used for 8 cylinders? The 5.7 has a 1 selected and is probably because its using the 4x reluctor so that won't work. Im using the 24x reluctor. Has to be 6 or 3. Considering I don't even have a Tach I'm just going to leave it a 6 for now. It'll be the first thing I suspect if I have timing issues though.
