Working on a 1987 El Camino 4.3 TBI conversion from automatic to 5 speed. Went looking for how to hack the factory ECM and found this place.

Have some history with mucking around with EFI.

Back in the early '90's I swapped in a 1989 TPI and 5 speed from an IROC into a 1978 Malibu. I integrated everything - full smog equipment, even the pass-key security. Ha! At some point I found Moates and had the Autoprom & TunerPro. Never did much with it and eventually ditched the factory stuff for Holly EFI.

Cool to see so much activity around the older OBD1 stuff. Most excellent!
