Re: Looking To Have LM7 5.3 Tuned

Most of the files shared on gearhead-efi are for stock vehicles. Maybe someone posted a modified file in this gearhead-efi thread: https://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-In...rPro-Bin-Files or possibly this thread: https://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-In...BDII-Bin-Files

More often than not, tuned files are "pay-per-view".

Re: Looking To Have LM7 5.3 Tuned

I may have posted in the wrong section. I’m wanting a custom tune built for truck. Not looking for a file that was made for someone else tore apart by 30 people and reposted as a free tune file. I’m not willing to take that risk. I’m looking for an experienced guy or gal who is able to get the job done with good end results. An if it works out I may have a few more in the future.

You posted in the correct forum.

If you were local to me (SW Washington), I would be willing to help.

Would you be willing to do tune remotely?

I would be willing to review a gearhead-efi posted data log from the LM7 5.3 and offer an analysis.

I’d like to take you up on this, just haven’t had time to log anything. Any suggestions on which parameters to use for the most useful data log?

I use EFI Live to data log with, then export the data log to an Excel spreadsheet to analyze. The examples are from a L31 tune, the LM7 tuning is similar.

Re: Looking To Have LM7 5.3 Tuned

Thank you for including the .zip file with a .csv file.

I'm not familiar with HP Tuners. I'm familiar with EFI Live. I see some common data columns in the .csv like RPM, Spark Advance, MAP Sensor, and MAF Sensor. I'm familiar with using Kpa for the MAP Sensor unit of measurement. I'm familiar with MAF in Grams per Second. I'm familiar with O2 sensor voltages for both Bank 1 and Bank 2.

I wonder if HP Tuners has data columns for Short-Term Fuel Trims and Long-Term Fuel Trims?

I noticed AFR measurements in the .csv, is there an AFR Meter (WBO2) streaming data into the data log?

Well shoot I don’t really know the answers to those questions. I guess next time I’m around the truck I can attempt a data log using efilive. I’ll see if I can set that up properly

I would think HP Tuners has similar screens for selecting Parameter ID's (PIDs) for data logging and Export to .csv PID's.
