Hi Larry,
I realize there are several people working on helping. I hope this isn't too much. You will need an xdf, an ads, and a .bin file to work with so all the suggestions you are seeing are valid. I can also see there is difficulty selecting the correct files when you don't have a .bin to work with.
I believe this tool allows you to download the bin "in the raw."
You will need to select the chip size, a file name, and maybe the start and end addresses for the file. If you're willing to try this, and if you can get a file, we can probably figure out the necessary details to get you started.
If it's available, I would select 32k for the chip size. I would watch the two boxes on the right to make sure the top box contains 0000 and the bottom box contains 7FFF. The "Output File" box appears to be where you type in the name of your file. Is there a drop down button on the right side of this box? The image is a little blurry for me. If there's a button, does it allow you to select options for the file type? The file type or file extension should be "binary" or "BIN."
