    7747 to 7427

    Fellow GearHead’s, while performing the 7427 upgrade and repinning the connectors/ modifying the harness I came across this fuse under the dash. It’s taped to the main trunk of the connector harness. What is this fuse for? Is it the 3 1/2 amp fuse Eagllemark mentioned in the write up?

    Maybe the "Starter Input"?

    The 7747 gets an input when the ignition switch is in the "Start" position.

    The 7427 does not require a "Start" input.

    Yes, thanks Dave. The wires are purple/white. So makes sense.
