    downloading files into Tp

I have right clicked on files and tried and cant find path to get into Tunerpro. I have tried to drag and drop into Tunerpro folder but that action is not possible. I have been away from computers a few years. I need help to see what step I am missing.

Are you using TunerPro for OBD1 or OBD2?

. . . For some, the Carb and Points denotes new to the Forum. . . . Here's the link to TunerPro RT download: https://www.tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm . . . The SetupTunerProRT_v500_10018.exe file usually downloads to the download folder. . . . Are you able to find the SetupTunerProRT_v500_10018.exe on your "C" in the download folder?

Maybe create a shortcut to the desktop, that's what I have. What TunerPro RT .adx, .xdf, and .bin files are you using?

I would need to know the vehicle make / model / year / engine / transmission information before knowing what files to use . . . Maybe some TunerPro RT videos will help: https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAA721B5634A4EC45 . .with setting up TunerPro RT. . . Often I forget what it’s like to be a beginner with TunerPro.

Not sure if this is what you need, but there are some .bin files that are for your application, and you will need to look into the gear ratio

    https://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-In...Information-0D

TunerPro is a great program, but sometimes it can seem a bit like jumping into the deep end

Using the "compare" tab > "load Compare bins" and choose the 2 different .bin files you want to look at
Then hit "Tools" > "Difference Tools" and it will go line by line
Then you can look into a specific table and note the address in the code and isolate or make changes

I'm guessing on the .BIN file. . . More often than not, the original .BIN is read from the PROM Chip.

My truck is BJYL and has 3.73 gear ratio. What does 'advanced' mean? Once I right click, how/where do I save it so TP can use it? Sometimes a download says html and sometimes text. What file type do i assign and where do i save? I understand sometimes i must add suffix but that may be all im understanding.

My screen captures might be helpful. . . Videos are better, even when the video is for a different vehicle. . . The file management basics are identical: https://www.google.com/search?q=spli...RnRNapRN4,st:0
