Corvette C5, 1997, 5.7L - Working flash needed for 16232148 PCM

Hi,I hope you are all doing well :) I am in lookout for flash file for Corvette C5, 1997, 5.7L engine with PCM number 16232148.Must be from working car because i have internal memory fault on mine and wish to try and see if problem goes away wich i am sure it will because all other ecu components look absolutely fine :) 28F400BX Flash memory Thank you,Best regards,AutoDigit

Auto or manual trans? And does it need to be a raw .bin file?

This is the only 97 Vette A4 file I have. It is a stock file I read out of the car with Tunercat OBD2. It was originally in a 16232148 PCM. In order to get it in a bin format I had to load it into a 16238212. 98 Vette, 98 F Body PCM and read it back out as a bin as I don't have a 2148 laying around. It should work as I've swapped the 2 different PCMs between the platforms.

That is very nice of you, big thanks for the file and your effort. I am very grateful for this. If i understand correctly on this preticular ecu 16232148 its only Flash and not 27C512 memory as i understand and see (if not blind :D). Can this file work for a PCM from a 2004 Corvette with number 16238212 ? The PCM looks exactly identical to the 16232148 one.Big thanks once again and have a nice day! :) Best wishes,AutoDigit

A 97-98 Vette PCM and a 04 Vette PCM wouldn't look anything alike. And no it wouldn't work in a 04 Vette PCM. It would only work in a 97-98. A 04 Vette should have a 12586243 service number PCM.

Hi again,Yes those two isnt alike at all but 16238212 & 16232148 looks a like from outside and inside (pcb) :) But i can understand if it doesnt work because they changed cable schematics from i believe 2001 to 2004?Just a thought because the pcb are just alike in every component i could find so if to write the flash file with vin changed should be an alternative no?
