Howdy peeps. I've had some random thoughts that have came to me over time that dont really fit into engine computer tuning but im still intrigued about.
I got some early modules and they all have the same 52 pins main chips and it looks just like the 68HC11 with the only pin that matches is the ground pin and the center top (i dont got the right tools yet to check the other pins). From a 93 i got a ebcm and derm and a 95 derm and they all use the same, 185 161##### X##X XXXXX####X (#=Number, X=Letter) like chip. Are these manufacture specific copycat chips or are they something different?
For the 93 year specifically im trying to figure out what kind of serial data chip the modules use and how they talk (40110 313A3 466). Same for 94 and 95 but with their changed serial (82640 506G3 466). Is there something i can use to read the data lines since it uses that 8192 baud? Like canbus sniffer but for serial?
Edit. If there was a content dump for the 93's DA3, is there then a way i can dump the contents of these other chips too?
Sorry that this isnt engine computer related but this is like the only place that would more than likely have the info. So if anyone has any info, even super small info, it would be greatly appreciated!
