Hi everyone!
Im new to the forum but have used a lot of the great info on here for years as a guest, but finally signed up. Ive been in the auto industry for 231 years and been restoring classics for 16 years professionally. Over the last few years ive been taking on doing my own vats delete and emissions codes removal but have yet to run into any issues till today.
I hate to ask right out of the gate but it is what it is.
heres what i have goin on. 2001 silverado 5.3 4l60e 2wd. (im pretty sure the year but i may be wrong.) 12202088 os. the truck was early dbw and we ditched that and went with dbc. its totally stock and in a 1970 c10 longbed (original paint is Perfect!) so i needed to remove the dbw and go dbc so i did all the neccessary calibration changes and now, when using pcmhammer, i cannot get it to erase the old calibration and load the new.
