I'm just curious if it's my problem or if there are issues with the site. I've been unable to connect or login for the last 3 or 4 days, just being able to get through today, and I still had problems with editing my last post.
Has there been an update or something that is causing this?

Hello,

I apologize for the issues. We've had some configuration changes that unexpectedly allowed a couple of computers based in Asia to overwhelm the servers with information requests. With any luck the site should be working as expected now.

Thank you for keeping gearhead-efi up and going. All to often members overlook the fact that gearhead-efi is maintained and supported by volunteers, not paid advertising like other fuel injection forums.

Yes, thank you to everyone who has helped keep Gearhead-efi alive for the past 13 years. We have a few folks that are visible every day and a couple more that work quietly in the background. But the real thank you is to everyone who contributes. This site wouldn't be active without the every day folks that are here posting and helping others.

The last few days were crazy! It turns out a foreign piece of software was accessing the forum nonstop. This software lied about what it was by calling itself as a regular browser and it was using ip addresses from a company with over 270,000 registered domains. The normal tools that identify and block these types of software weren't working. Our servers were overwhelmed. Everything abruptly stopped early yesterday morning so we're back to normal.
