If you have the ability, it would be worth it to me to compensate you. I have spent 2.5 years trying to make it work. PM me if interested, Jeff

2618 with an 05 Express van system file. Only have it as a HP Tuners file at the moment.

Thank you, I have the HP tuners software, but I will try to find it in the BIN files first. Happy New Year

Thank you all, for your input. I have come to the conclusion it is NOT possible to accurately drive the pulse width modulated fuel gauge off of the 603 operating systems and the computer hardware that I have. I will look to other solutions, might have to change my whole instrument cluster over to Dakota digital.

603 was used in the Express van. If it is a DBC P59 with the added analog inputs and outputs necessary 603 will run the fuel level gauge accurately. 618 is even newer and does it.

The fuel level float resistance is inverted on the newer trucks compared to the OBS. Full will read Empty, Empty will read Full unless you Reverse the tank reaistance vs volume table. Adjust it to your tank size and tweak the output as needed. My buddies 98 has a 2005 P59 618 OS running his fuel gauge.

Still have that HP Tuners file if you want to look at it in HP Tuners to see the changes before shelling out $1000.

I would really appreciate that file. My engine is a 05 LQ9 that is DBW and my AC uses the analog AC for compressor control. I haven't looked up the 618 OS to see if it handles DBW and what kind of XDF support it has (IIRC it does not handle the analog AC input for AC/electric fans). I have HP tuners MPVI3, just have not registered the VIN yet, I found Tuner Pro RT does everything that I need so far.

I will try to remember to post it for you tomorrow when I have my laptop handy. 618 handles EVERYTHING. 4x & 24x crank, DBW, DBC, serial and analog. I have tunes from a 4.3L to a 5.7L to an 8.1. Trucks, Vans even a CTS-V. It will run a non computerized allison, the allison with the TCM, the 4L60E and 4L80E and both 5spd and 6spd manaul with or without a reverse lockout or skipshift. Also can run flex fuel if it has a 24x crank signal. Can alao run lean cruise.

This is spot on for a K1500 extended cab tank, should be 25 gallons.

Thank you Fast355. I'll try it this weekend.

This is for P59 618 OS?

618 os, L31 5.7L, 4L80E, 4x4 and Van system segment. The fuel volume and resistance settings and gauge output are the main things to look at. You may need to segment swap the van system file into your OS, then set the option matrix correctly for your setup.
