    T and E bins - Bricked LT1's

I have a 96 ecu here lost power when they were programming. Found Goldsswagon post but did not see what file needs to be put in both T & E chips? (http://www.goldsswagon.com/PCMFlash/...shMemory.htm)I am going to pull the coating and chips this weekend as i wait for the adapters to come in. I was hoping someone like EEhack Steve or you fine gentlemen might have clean read of both chips. Or is it as simple as splitting a stock flash file addressing and writing to each?Thank you all

Possibly TunerCats can remove and replace both T & E chips. It been a few years since I’ve shipped a computer to TunerCats, but I think TunerCats still offers flash chip replacement service. . http://www.tunercat.com/

I appreciate the information didn't know CATS still messed with cracking them open. But i do enjoy the soldering myself (side hobby i enjoy). Just not sure of the bins to fix them if they are corrupted, and would hate to buy a good one to tear it apart but that's an option.

There is a better solution in trial right now. I wrote software that makes use of the internal bootstrap rom inside the 68HC11. Folks I am working with have taken my hardware design and built the cable. Much better than removing the flash because the conformal coating stays intact. Try this link https://www.facebook.com/groups/495037833246136/ or search for LT-Flash on facebook and utube. -Tom
