    12-pin OBD1 Cable: http://aldlcable.com/products/aldlobd1u.asp
    16-pin OBD1 Cable: http://aldlcable.com/products/aldlobd2u.asp

I have the 16-pin version, it has always worked great. Don't bother with the garbage "16-pin to 12-pin" adapters on eBay to try to run both, they are all wired completely wrong (in a potentially dangerous way).

Ok, thanks. However, the cable you referenced is with the larger USB connector; not the smaller one that Android phones and tablets use.

Also, on that page, I believe all the software that you need is Windows based. I need an Android based software to use with phones and tablets.

    Thanks,

No one sells an ALDL cable that uses Micro-A. Just use a Micro-A-to-A adapter if you want to use an Android device in that way.

As for software, that isn't tied to the cable. When I got my cable I didn't use any software from that company--I just went straight to EEHack, since it's the correct software for the 1994/1995 Corvette.

So it sounds like what you're looking for is ALDLDroid.
