    88 s10 4.3 7747

    I scored a 88 s10 with a 4.3 gonna send the ECM to moates and have the header soldered in I have a chip burner and tunercats anything else ill need? I thought I read something abt a flickering ses light and another adapter

    Just a couple 27FS512 chips and a way to burn them.

    I solder the G2 straight to ECM with no DIP, this way when done the cover goes back on. You could use a DIP and ZIF on top of the G2 so changing chips are easy.

    The flickering CEL is sometimes from an Ostrich and needs a Booster.

    If you data log that and find the Async flag on all the time, which you will... start with a ADSU bin for 700R4 and change to 6 cylinder, they run Sync fuel and have way better idle and good BLM readings. The Async bins do weird stuff to BLMs...
