I guess I'm the only one ever to like the obd2 pcm in the LT1? Its a faster processor... OBD2 diagnostics.... Worth tuning..

Many people like the OBD2 LT1 computer. The extreme downside to the LT1 OBD2 computer is cost, cost and more costs are involved to use it. Which low cost / no cost tuning software can be used with the OBD2 LT1 computer? What low cost / no cost flashing software / hardware can be used with the OBD2 LT1 computer.

For most OBD1 LT1 owners, the price of TunerPro RT and TunerCats WinFlash are well within the budget!

its even more poorly documented and researched than the obd-I ecm. *that's* why it sucks to tune. its not just cost. unless things have changed...

That's the only reason I'm doing it is the cost. Is there a cheap way to tune a obd2

thing is, there should be a cheap way. seems how to flash that ecm is a closely guarded secret, but it can't be that friggn complicated. that shit always drove me nuts.

I'm writing a free EE flash utility right now, it's pretty much done, so soon enough it will be a truly free to tune platform. I just need another ecm and about a month to test n make sure nobody is going to brick their car with it.

maybe when I'm done ill take a stab at obd-ii, but I don't have a cable or an ecm so I'm not motivated
