    2005 Corvette LS2 with 4L80E

I've been asked to help with a 2005 Corvette LS2 engine transplant using a 4L80E. I foresee a flash challenge with the Corvette E40 ECM and 4L80E TCM. The original application was a 2005 Corvette with a 4L60E. I'm not sure if a 4L80E TCM flash will work with the 2005 Corvette TCM? Possibly the 2005 Corvette TCM (part number) was also used with a 4L80E, but in a different vehicle application?

Possibly someone with helpful insights will be willing to share their information in this tread?

Search "2005 GTO 4L80E conversion" and "E40 4L80E swap" on Google. There are some discussions about this.

I'm still optimistic someone will share a "how to" for the cable offered by PCM of NC: https://www.pcmofnc.com/product/pcm-...rsion-harness/ It's a low budget project, so DIY information is very helpful.

The cable does not require an ISS Input from the 4L80E. A custom TCM flash is required too. See attached for a few breadcrumbs of information about the custom flash.

I use WinFlash, which sometimes has issues with reading .bin format. The attached E40 .bin file won't open with EFI Live, not sure why. TunerCats OBD2 opens the .bin file, but without the VIN information.

The E38 .bin files I read with WinFlash work fine.

Shoot Dave, i should have mentioned, .cal TC files are fine. I think I might be able to help with starter tunes/adjustments. ecm and current tcm are welcome. I will look over your ecm file tomorrow.

Did you try the link I posted for the Tuner update? Version History says:

    Version 3.74

Corrected bug in the VIN extraction when opening binary format E40 calibration file.
