I'm working on a 2008 Silverado, I just did a texas speed stage 3 install with headers and trying to learn how to tune on it.

Welcome. I'm from Mo also.
You'll need either an xdf for your Operating System, and tuner Pro, or Universal Patcher.
No need to re-invent the wheel. But we can make it better
I appreciate the reply. What part of Missouri are you from, I'm in Bonne Terre. I got tunerpro installed and have been watching some videos.I bought a tunercat y set up for another project so it has the cable I need. They sale the EDF for my truck but I'm just exploring options. The main thing is I don't want to lose my stock tune because is does idle good as of now not sure about drive ability yet.I still have some exhaust work to do.
I'm a little north of Springfield.
Yeah you want to make a copy of your stock file and save it on a thumb drive or something, I recommend any time you make a change to your bin, changing the file name so you have a different file makes it easy to go back a step if needed

Welcome. I'm near Poplar Bluff myself.
Thank you,I appreciate the info.
Hello,I go through that area a few times a year,my parents are originally from the bootheel.
I sure am sorry. This part of Missouri contains some of the strangest people on earth. I'm not saying everyone is strange because there are some exceptionally good people here. What I'm trying to say is that there is a high concentration of people here who are so strange that it makes the hippies in San Francisco with swastikas tattooed on their foreheads look sensible. At least your family was smart enough to leave.
