most of eehack's help files are stored in 'tooltips' so you're forced to explore the program, if you hover your mouse over a control it'll explain quite a bit about it sometimes. for example go into the flash tool and hover your mouse over 'insert patches', and it'll explain how those work.

there's also a nice info button beside that patch checkbox that tells you what the patch version contains exactly i suggest you click it, especially since you have a corvette, one other thing it does is replace 'oil temperature' in the datastream with 'afr target', since afr target is generally much more useful.

you'll love electronic tuning just make sure you put tunerpro into 'category' view mode with the EEx xdf, and everything will be pretty easy to find in there.

eehack has a lot of stuff in it, but a good start is to connect it to your car, drive around for a while in varied conditions, and when you get home, click 'analyze' and then 'run analysis' to get a good idea where your AFR and any knock is. i tried to make common datalogging to fuel/spark analysis workflow as fast and easy as possible.
