That's where I was looking but couldn't find the 427 ECM connectors. Maybe I should give them a call.Originally Posted by RobertISaar
Man I wish i had a day to go Junk Yarding. guy up there thinks I'm nuts buying all these wiring harness, so he's cheap for me. His ECM and other stuff is fair as well. But I guess I am the only one paying for EFI hanreeses... He made me laugh, I asked him how much if he pulled them? He said I don't have any... I say, yeah you do! They are here and here and... he says I don't have any... so I finally caught on that he does NOT pull harness and the only reason I get them is I pull them.

Mouser has them: for less than $2.00 each. The secondary locks are less the 50 cents each, shipping is flat rate USPS.

Yes, both sizes 18 ~ 22 AWG & 14 ~ 16 AWG. All the related parts for the connectors are BURRIED in the data sheet. Delphi does not list AWG, but rather the metric wire sizes.Originally Posted by Six_Shooter

mouser carry these? or their terminals/seals?
i looked, but couldn't find them.
When converting a 7747 to a 427 is there any need to buy differant size metal connector pins? Or will the ones already on a 7747 harness work?
I have hundreds of metal pins with differant colored sections of wire on each. Ready to use if need be, salvaged from old harnesses.

I checked this link and it saysOriginally Posted by RobertISaarIs this secondary lock, the comb looking thing that goes in after putting them together?Additional Connector Details
This connector is used with the 1227727 TPI ECM and the 1992-1993 LT1 ECM. Since discontinued by Delphi, we do not stock, cannot get, and do not know where to get the red secondary lock.

yeah, the red comb looking device.... it actually is also used to hold the connector body in place as well, since it has two large locking tabs on it.
i've never broken one before, but it will happen eventually.
i need to get the pins/seals for my nAst1 project since it will end up using far more pins than the factory supplied.
"When converting a 7747 to a 427 is there any need to buy differant size metal connector pins?"
depends on what size wire you want to run in the circuit. if the existing pin has a 18-22 guage wire sticking out of it, and you want a 14-16 guage wire in it's place, then yeah, find/buy a 14-16 guage pin. i tend to solder all of mine and have stuffed much larger wires than intended in the much smaller pins, not necessarily the greatest method but it does work.
If you let me know what color wire and how many of each color I probably have them all with long pigtails. FREE! Just send me a list and I will see if I have them.

The pins themselves are the same, between the '7747 an '7427.
