Hello.
The 1227747 used a 2732 or 2732A eprom. I don't believe that eprom is manufactured today. You might still be able to find someone selling "pulls" which are good, used eproms. Unfortunately I haven't dabbled with a 7747 for years.
Are you looking for the chip type to re-program for another vehicle or are you looking for this chip type with the original program? Do you know any proper details of the vehicle the chip came from?
It's marked 350 Chevy on top of the ecu. It's random purchase. Looking to load 7.4l program for my conversion.
You can find them on eBay, look for 2732A.

A better option for "chips" to use in a '7747 is to use a 28 pin adapter and use SST27SF512 or similar EEPROMs. The adapter which can be bought from moates.net or made DIY if you're handy with a soldering iron, sets the access address of the EEPROM through hardware so that the '7747 can read the 28 pin EEPROM.
The man who says something is impossible, is usually interrupted by the man doing it.
