i purchased an in tank fuel pump. i thought it might be a 12-17 lb pump for throttle body but it turns out it is a 80-90lb fump for mfi. will it work on the tbi or will it be to much pressure for the tbi regulator to handle?
thanks in advance

I am running a 48 lb pump at 12 lbs right now with no problem, just make sure that there are no restrictions in the return line. I had a restriction in my return line and it took several days to finally find it. It took 15 min. to fix it.
Square body stepsides forever!!!
I ran a MPFI fuel pump with my TBI with no problems either. Like Jim said, just make sure your return line flows good and you should be fine.
