Also the silence are commands for the CCM and ABS to quite them from Chatter, I was looking at the EE ADX and mine is set up a bit different, I hammer the bus with the the silence commands (25 of Each) since you have to catch will they are not talking, it works solid on my laptop form TunerPro, I assume the EE you have works with no issues when you connect with TunerPro as well?

No issues with the $EE file and Tunerpro, but then I haven't gotten very deep into it since I wrote my own app for that setup and it doesn't use any files. I found that in my app, sending just 3 silence commands spaced at 75 millisecond intervals works fine for me 100% of the time. I examined the chatter/housekeeping before even connecting the ABS and SIR modules and compared it with the setup including them. The chatter was identical, so on mine all the chatter is coming from the pcm. There are just 3, one each for rpm, mph, and pcm address.

Version 0.16, no crash with $EE. Connection attempt is good , but as said earlier, I don't have the full adapter yet. Right now the temporary setup just echos the commands back, and that looks to be working right. I will let you know how it works when it actually connects to the pcm (tomorrow or?). Thanks

Cool, that's progress :) Crazy weekend, most issues should be thing of the past now.

Little recap so far:

• $A1: mikew ('59 jaguar), works great
• $8F and $42 (160 baud): 3400tZ (on the bench), works great
• $8EA: -=Jeff=- ('90 vette ZR-1), works great
• $EE: GaryDoug (on the bench ?), so far so good, pending adapter :)

Still waiting for someone to have a success story right away, hopefully that will be soon :P

My scheme for a cheap adapter has an insurmountable problem, so I will give up on that. Ordered one from Timm. Will let you all know how that works out when I get it.
