Jeff, when you see the "Unfortunatly, ALDLdroid has stopped." screen, there should be a report button down there.
Once I've received the report, I will be able to see what is going on for you.
Sorry about that

I am using the $8EA I linked somewhere in this thread, remember I have the silencing messages in my adx

Ok cool, haven't received anything yet. Will let you know what's going on once I receive it!

Got it, yeah it seems to be something funky going on with the connect stuff. Can you remind me where to get that ADX ? Thx
EDIT: Nevermind, I found your post

If not I will attach it shortly

Ok, I reproduced the crash on my side with your ADX file. I fixed the issue and uploaded version 0.14 on Google Play. It usually take around an hour until they actually refresh their thing. Once you see 0.14 on Play, update the app and give it a go again!

no refresh yet..
I will try it tomorrow once it shows it has updated
Looking forward to it. once it works for me I will get the bluetooth interface

OK, got version 0.14 downloaded and the first time it went to connect it closed, I sent you the report.
Launched it again and this time it says wrong checksum/ecm no response, but some of the values populated, I am guessing it still has to do with the connection and the silencing. I am currently using a USB cable and the program does detect that.
What checksum is it comparing to?
Let me know what to try next.
Thanks
Edit, I will check the disable checksum and try that next

Okay so with the Checksum disabled, it sort of works... it is looking like the Connection is not silencing chatter from the other devices, Also in hte commands menu, the only 2 commands listed are the Mode 1 and clear DTC.. I have a Connect and disconnect Macro, but those are not listed in the commands menu.
so it looks like it will work once I can get the the other items to silence.

Cool, we're making progress! I will have to check why those aren't listed in the commands list. Also, I've just noticed that the "CONNECT" macro has a repeat count of 10. I think I'm not using that parameter so that could be an issue as well. I will make sure I respect that parameter and find why the commands aren't listed and we'll go from there! Will reply back in this thread later today.
Thank you!
