    Father son project

    Hello and thank you !

Working on a 83 z28 with my son. Started with a worn out 305, then a decent 350 .030 , cam , headers. That block now has 3 cracks in it after froze last winter ( my fault ,long story)
Now its going to get a 4.8/5.3 since there are a bunch in the junkyards for cheap. I am here to soak up the knowledge you guys are pouring out.

i've always had a soft spot for those early third gens.

sure you don't want to get a 94-95 LT1? they're pretty cheap to tune and bolt right up....

i know you'd have to be insane and it's not the best choice but this is an 83 f-body so 'best choice' probably isn't one of the parameters you're using to make decisions so i figured i'd try
