You will need to set your rear tire height and the differential gear ratio if you are running an electronic speedometer. Also don't forget to disable your EGR system, your Sensor 2 oxygen sensors (after the cats), Air Injection system (if equipped) and Fuel Level Sensor.

I keep a very long list of things to kill off in the tune but its a list I got from somewhere else. I have merely added things to it and let me know if you need it.

    Thanks for responding
Can you dm me a copy of your list?
My LM7 is in a 1999 silverado LS ext cab I got it running, driving, tagged, and insured right now, figured I would bang it around until I get the T/A's engine compartment/sub frame ready and body work finished.
I wanted to disable the evap canister solenoid sensor to test my flash abilities before the swap. I have heard you can disconnect the body control module while the truck is running to defeat the VATS.
I want to get comfortable with editing since I have another T/A that I will most likely swap a 5.3 and a M6 into.... after my checking account recovers LOL.
I also have a guy in my car club that is LS swapping a 1972 camaro he has the drive train out of his truck already he is going to do my exhaust if I help him with the ECM on his.

    Hello,

The site won't let me send you my DTC list. PM me your regular email address and I will send it.

Well I flashed to 12212156 and have everything "working" now.
I am just trying to learn to tune for power and efficiency.
The tune was throwing lean 1-2 bank codes. The injectors from 1999 LM7 are different size than 2002. Phoenix helped me with a fuel table from one of his tunes on a 1999. I am getting way slower 1/4 mile on torque and worse gas mileage with the 12212156 tune in the pickup

I'm in the same boat, 1999 Silverado with 09373372 PCM trying to switch over to 0411 12212156 PCM. All stock except for a cheap eBay CAI (make sure all the clamps are tight!).

Was getting battery light and lean codes.

Now... I don't know why it took me so long to find out about this but UniversalPatcher has PCMHammer built-in and can export a generated XDF (even for 09373372!). It's not the prettiest but allows you to look, compare and change things in TunerPro for the 09373372.

Here is my changelog (values copied from 09373372 to 12212156)
    Code:
Edit Log for 12212156-fresh.bin created by TunerPro.

    # Disabled VATS and VIN changes not showing
I haven't had a chance to drive it much since the changes but it fixed my battery light and charging issue.

I'll attach the generated XDF file for my stock 09373372. If you generate a XDF from the 12212156 bin you can use the diff tool in TunerPro against your 09373372 bin. You can also download EFI Live and compare the two bins, sometimes you have to change the units to match TunerPro, etc, etc.

Really depends on what you are trying to do.. In most cases I'd say just use the generated xdf to compare values with a newer OS that is better supported. If you're just trying to update speedo/gearing or something small like that you can probably just use the generated and move on.
