K.Finding this stuff out the hard way. I take it PCM Hammer is only compatible with Windows 10?

I think I have ran it on Win 7 before. You can also probably find the older versions of PCM Hammer that did work on WIN 7 - just ask where they are stashed around here.

What seems to be the problem? If you must do something on Android, there's always "LS Droid" to do your reading and writing. I use both of them.

I couldn't get PCM Hammer to setup on my computer. I was clicking on the wrong link in the file. I now have PCM Hammer downloaded on my Windows 8.1. Now to get the OBDLink LX to pair through Bluetooth. Not having any luck on that part yet. When I try to download LS Droid, either on the tablet or Windows, it gets blocked saying infected with malware.

There is no malware in the LS Droid for Windows program. You have to create exceptions for them to be allowed in Windows Defender and/or your anti-virus program.
Have been running LS Droid for Windows since first release with the exceptions, and no issues.

I have added exceptions to my virus software and was able to download, but every time I tried to install, it said it had malware and deleted the LS Droid setup. I'm just not going to mess with the LS Droid, it's to aggravating just trying to get it to setup on my computer.
