Just wondering if there is an adx file for $8C?

I did a data log using the A217 $OD TP5 V250.adx which seems Ok? Maybe the $OD .adx is Ok, like the $OE / $31 use the same .adx?

    So what PCM is it?
I'll look into the A309 if I get some sleep tonight...

Looks like A309.ds was last of an era for ALDL data Streams, it was sad to read what was in the file!

07/01/94 - Due to G.M. Management indecision, I am unable release data for
the 95' OBD-II truck, and have no idea when or how this data will
    be released.

I don't know Bret Hanson, but I really liked him...

Without a disassembly of the bin we could not even find where the data is going?

This brings up the topic of OBDI.5, which I've always said was a mythological creature created by Internet! But now we have OBDII in 1995?

    Now I'll never sleep...

ScanXL is software being sold by Westers Garage to take place of their OBDII ECMPro (which I believe is the dead Monodax OBDII data software for TunerPro OBDII), I plan on ordering ScanXL come PayDay to go with my Innovate Ot-2 OBDII data logger for LogWorks. But maybe for now you could use a Scantool?

    Does DataMaster have one?

The DataMaster TTS website is only showing TBI $OD, $OE, $E6, & $31.

I find it very interesting that my licensed version of DataMaster TTS $E6 seems to also work with $OD, $OE, & $31. Six years ago, DataMaster TTS was about the best data logging software around for the GM TBI PCM, but the steady advances with TunerPro RT .adx data logging has changed that! The only thing left to say about DataMaster TTS is R.I.P.

DataMaster was great and still is, but very limited as well.

What's the reason you haven't just stuck an $0D bin in there?

It's not my own personal vehicle. The vehicle owner is not very experienced with EFI. The vehicle owner wants a custom chip, just like the "Brand Name" aftermarket chips.

I'm wondering, is there a factory 4.3 CPI $OD .bin for the 4L60E with electronic 4WD?

Oh! That's easy! Make big claims, add 1 or 2 degrees timing to a few places, add a little fuel to a couple places, I believe 7 insignificant changes are all that is neccessery... then collect $250.

Since 1project2many said this, I would say no problem! At least then you could actually give him a good tune!

This is probably the worst OBD? disaster I've seen! Defiantly a freak. What exactly is the year make model? I want to put it on my Black List... but then again I think a normal $0D would solve the transitional OBDI to OBDII experiment GM created?

    I've read a 1994 4.3 CPI / Auto .bin file. It's $OD.

Only 140 realistic byte differece to BHRJ so why were we looking for a differant mask?

I was looking for a $OD .bin file to convert from $8C, but I don't know if BHRH has electronic 4WD?

I had a 94 Jimmy 4.3 CPI and electronic shift Xfer case. Cal is attached. I also have a cal for a 94 listed as "Without CTF INTERIM DESIGN CHGE VEH. OPT. LABEL FOR VERIFICATION" but I still don't know what that option means. It might indicate the new body style vehicle.

FWIW the electronic shift is nothing more than a motorized version of manual shift. The controller is activated by a button on the dash and the motor (encoder) makes an appropriate shift. Shifter position is reported back to the controller and if there's an error the controller reports this to the driver by flashing the 2wd / 4wd lights (different years provide different lights), setting a code within the controller, and locking out electronic shifting. When everything is working correctly the 4WD lo input tells pcm to enable low range calibration values and that's all that the pcm requires. The pcm has no idea or inclination to care how the xfer gets into or out of 4wd low, it only cares about whether or not that's the current state.

The 95 blazer was billed as a limited OBDII compliant vehicle. I own one. It was only called OBD1.5 by the internet experts.

Super special EFI power chips are not effective unless they come with big warnings that say "Use 91 octane fuel only!" and "Use with 160 deg thermostat." The big money chips also get a 1" by 3" decal with two or (if you're lucky) three color logos!

There are some 1995 GM 4.3 TBI/CPI S10 applications floating around out there that have an OBDII connector, 96+ Vortec Black box style PCM, distributor and ignition control module along with the crank sensor. Some of these trucks also had missfire detection, catalyst monitoring, and evap pressure testing. Some can be read by an OBDII reader, but most require a scanner capable of reading 94-95 GM OBD1 Enhanced. My grandmother had a 1995 Oldsmobile Achieva with the 3100 that was also OBD 1.5.
