Well finally got rid of of that truck. Didnt come out like I was hoping, as I sold it whole instead of parting. But I did end up selling it for $50 more than I bought it for, and that was with no motor, trans, or the other parts I kept.
I have a guy that says he wants the engine, so if I can sell it, I will still come out for the good, just not as much as I was hoping. Oh well. At least its out of my hair. I do not see myself buying any more parts vehicles in the forseeable future.

I used to do quite well parting out certain vehicles. Like yours should have been a good choice to part out. But that all went away around 2008. Seems the way of life changed with the economy, no more projects, extra vehicles were left to die instead of fix up, no money to even buy parts for some and no time to work on them for others...

Anyone have a wiring diagram for that truck? 93 C3500. I saved what I believe to be a headlight buzzer from it. It plugged into, or next to the fuse panel. It has 7 terminals on it, and holes with what looks like a speaker in it. It has the number 22529441 on it.
If I could find a wiring diagram that shows it, I would kinda like to see if I can wire it up as a retrofit into my jeep. I have almost left my headlights on several times over the years. I have tried google searching but come up empty handed.

A headlight buzzer is super simple to make. Best bet is to get a Peizo or electronic alarm with a + and - connection. Connect + to the park light wire and the - to ign+. The alarm will have power with the park lights on. If the key is on then both sides of the buzzer are at 12V+ so no noise. If the key is off, everything connected to the IGN circuit will provide ground and the buzzer will sound. If you have an older buzzer that isn't polarity sensitive, put a diode inline to prevent current from flowing from ign through the buzzer with the light switch off.

I can try to remember to find a diagram but I haven't been very good about getting jobs done lately. :(

So if everything goes well, I should have a bent 6 in my 240Z by the end of July...

Whats wrong with the I6? And why a V6 to replace it as oposed to another I6?
I know nothing about nissan, so I dont know if there are problems with that engine. But I know I love the 4.0 I6 in my jeeps and wouldnt swap it out for any V6 out there.

Interesting thought, I favor the Buick V6.

Nothing wrong with the I6 I have, it's just showing signs of being tired. It also costs a LOT of money to get the power out of it I want. The biggest deal breaker for me to keep it is that it is not a crossflow head. It's the one thing I have really disliked about it, heat from the exhaust baking the intake, and cooking the injectors at shut down. Also if I do get a fuel leak from a failed O-ring or fuel rail issue, there's a good chance that it will end up on the exhaust, possibly making the situation much worse.

The only Nissan I6 I would use is an RB series, but since they were not sold in any North American market vehicles parts are hard to come by and expensive.

I've had the plan to put the bent 6 in the car before I bought the car, about 6 years ago, so it's time.

The engine weight will all be behind the front axle line, and open up more space in the engine bay.

Is the SuperCharged version worth the effort? I've always been interested in owning one but know nothing about them as far as tuning, building and reliability...

Is that all you'd put on it? You don't sound very confident.
