She is in surgery right now. Never got a chance to talk to surgeon but something is up as they filled her full of blood today, although she was not leaking blood, just intestine... I think they are taking out another section...

Well they did not remove the end of intestine because the fistula/leak they fixed just a week or two ago was healed perfectly. Looks like a piece of intestine had healed on to a piece of the mesh (used to close her sugery site) and then popped off causing the new leak... so it was another quick easy surgery... but it may also heal to mesh again?
There was no surgery time to do the complete removal of that piece of intestine, nor did she have time to wait...
So this may happen all over again at any time. But they know what the ultimate fix is! This really sucks!

Just pissed off that they now know what the issue is! And how to fix! But just do a quick fix... it may work... or... we can do this again?

Marine Ford Y Block.JPGCheck this motor out.
I have this friend that is always finding stuff he can buy and sell. The other day he sends me a text with this picture wanting to know what it was. Just to be a smart azz I replied back a boat motor. But after I looked at it a while I was pretty sure it was an old Ford Y block. So I did a Google search for Ford Y block marine motor and sure enough I got several picture confirming that was indeed what it was.
Check out the dual side draft carbs running to the front and rear. When I did the search I found a pic were a guy was using that carb set up on his street rod. It was pretty sweet!!
Definately a different looking beast. That probably would turn a few heads setting in a rat rod or something along those lines.

Well, I just sent payment for a non-operational Tektronix O'scope. Should be here in a week or so. Will be fun going over it and troubleshooting it. :D
The man who says something is impossible, is usually interrupted by the man doing it.
Well, this week I fixed my low voltage problem. I thought that the alternator was going out, but it tested perfect. So I did the big 3 upgrade and replaced my battery cables. I gained almost a volt at the battery. From the Battery, 4 gauge to the block, 5 gauge to the frame and 6 gauge to the body on the negative side. I also put a new cable to the starter and a 5 guage wire from the alternator to the positive side. My lights are brighter too. Well worth the effort. Now I can see if my data logs look any different. With the battery unplugged for that long, it will need to relearn the blm's, but that is okay. I was seeing voltages drop below 12 VDC in the log, which is what started me looking for my low voltage problem. Thanks to Mark pointing it out, I investigated until I fixed it. I was going to play with logging this afternoon, but this morning while helping a buddy fix a loose wheel bearing on his trailer, I threw my back out and can barely walk. A lot of heating pad time and I will be fine, but it ruined today's plans.
Square body stepsides forever!!!
Having changed voltage enough to notice headlights are better will sure help the EFI run better! Now if we can only straighten out your back the tune will be easier... backs out really mess up a good day. Get well!
Guess who's home for thanksgiving? Crazy ol gal want's me to go buy a turkey and all the fixings so she can cook us a meal? Man she's tuff! Only been home like 5 days in four months from hospital and three surgeries. I got a Turkey day meal ordered as there's no way in hell she... and I are going to spend the day cooking at this point! She's still on a wound vac and intravenous anti biotics. Going to take it slow and enjoy the time together instead.
Happy Turkey Day to everyone!
