I like that autotragic, that chip come out of my old Corsica 32-33 mpgs at 70mph I have not messed with it so it should be stock. old car was still running 285000 miles an on the same fuel pump had a head go bad old car was getting rusted out [Indiana winter salt] and not worth fixing.[recycled]

i just can't stand the 3T40/TH125... too few of gears for my liking. i got enough 3 speed automatic action in my life already after driving an 83 elcamino around getting single digit MPGs on nothing less than premium fuel.

pretty much anything that was ever 3T40 equipped can have a 4T60 dropped in place of it and have an extra gear. and at that point, there are 12 final drive ratios to choose from. assuming you had a 3T40 with a 2.84 gear(which seems to be the most common other than maybe 3.08), you could go all the way up to the 3.73 final set and you'll not only get a 31.3% increase in torque to the wheels, you'll have essentially a 2.61 gear when in 4th.

the effect of drilled injector and dirty injector compared to 4 good clean stockers left top is a dirty 19lb bosch right top is 39lb deutchwerks highflowed i presume drilled out sprays a different pattern every time it opens and sprays 3 streams and i could never get the car running correctly on these and the other 4 injectors are bluetop 775 24lbers nice clean well atomised cones.i was just checking the 4 24lbers ready to go in a v8 im tuning thats rich on one bank and lean on the other. i have to make the best set of 8 out of 12 injectors from pick a part LOL

Arrgh, been a rough week.Woke up mid-day due to lightning strikes/thunder this past weekend, every 20secs like clockwork within a mile of us for about an hour.
    Power went out,came on,back out,then again etc..
Wife noticed though AC was on,temp was going up.
Critical thinking and a quick walk outside helped me notice the condensor fan wasn't running.
A buddy clued me in that they use a capacitor so after removing I had to drive 45m away to get another the next day.
Replaced that night in the dark, tested and still nothing.
My cousin (HVAC tech) had told me the fan motor could still be out and possibly compressor.
The next day I started pulling fan motor and noticed a wire that didn't make it onto the capacitor.
Plugged in and now all is fine.

Of course,we have a blind epileptic non-ambulatory 12yo on heat/sun sensitive meds and a pump. So that week we also had to find/install some window units to keep the house cool at night.
We took her to wifes mothers for the day, because our living room/hallway/kitchen are basically one big room with 17ft ceilings.
Two big window units and a smaller unit full blast still struggled to stay under 80* at night.

All back to semi-normal now, with the exception of a rearranged living room.
Alot of stress and craziness, but in the end it didn't cost anything to fix the AC (cousin gave me new capacitor) and I did it myself.
I can't wait till we build a new house, it has backup plans for a situation like this so we don't have to worry about power or component outages so much.
I hate being dependant on modern technology to live.

there any reason why you can't do it through software instead? that's what i did for nAst1 with some pretty good results.

not my bird, but he has been quite helpful in testing the code in real-world applications.

    nAst1 is OBD1. It's based on A1, which is a early '90s 3.1 V6 code.
