So how come when I do a search for "Whatever" to find this thread, I get this:

Whatever

Because vBulliten search sucks! Waiting on some cash inflow from site to buy aftermarket version.

I may just disable it and use a Google box. It works great. Try this in Google,

site:gearhead-efi.com (whatever you want here)

i find "site:gearhead-efi.com search term" to work great in google as well.

I've played with the search box. It doesn't search "Gearheads" subforum. Neither does "new posts" shortcut search button. Maybe a box isn't checked that should be??

I could look through the Admin settings. But vBulliten search is known to suck... there are some newer versions I've been watching and did not see any search updates? I think they don't care as the aftermarket company search works well... maybe there's a relationship there?

oddly enough, yes. something about a certificate revocation issue?

both new post methods work for me, notification emails are sometimes getting laggy(~24 hours late).
