TBI on 4 inch raiser on a performer manifold

OK here is my $64,000 dollar question:

Will running a performer intake, with a 4 inch raise set up topped with a TBI system work as in will in increases bottom end low RPM torque on a 383??

I added a spliter plate to the 2 inch riser to keep the performer's dual sides.

I don't know if the setup pictured in post 1 will be optimal? Good question for Dyno tuning to answer.

The factory 454 adapter might need modification to work without a vacuum leak. See pictures below.

OMG I would never seen that...but man you were so right...

I can clearly see that the mating surfaces do not match up.

So the water hose fittings, good for hot water (better MPG) or better with cold water, (More HP) if I can figure how to feed cold water to it) or not used at all??

You just saved me from a major problem...many thanks.

Water hose fitting is optional. Extreme cold weather driving conditions will benefit following the factory design.

I kind of figured that having had a choke close on a cold run once, I had blocked the heat riser as per hot rod ideas, a bad idea I learned...

Noted the Cactus, are you in AZ??

I live in Vancouver, Washington State, USA ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vancouver,_Washington ).

Vancouver can be confusing to some, because there is that "other" Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada (about 300 miles North).

I hear people get confused with the cites named Portland too, Maine / Oregon

So I do not think there are many Cactus up there...

I am also VERY interested in improving MPG, on a 03 Crown Vic, my 383 93 Chevy van (the engine we are talking about) and if at all possible on a 02 Ford Explorer 4.0 that is insanely gas eater for NO real reason, I firmly believe there is some dirty play going on with it 18/20MPG does not compute....

I am in Phoenix AZ where those cactus are so very common.

Many years ago I went to Phoenix, business trip. I took several pictures, including the scenery around Boyce Thompson Arboretum. I especially liked the Saguaro Cactus picture that I use for my avatar, because it's not a common avatar like a GM Bowtie.

Most gearhead-efi members, including myself, focus on GM EFI systems.

Well my main drive is a GM system, I want my van to get 20+ MPG highway.

I was hoping for help on the Fords...
