New guy - 84 Vette project

    Hey guys,

Currently working on doing an LS 5.3 swap on my 84 Corvette.
    Most Major things are done.
5.3 gen 3 truck engine- 2002 Silverado donor
    Stage 1 cam
    FBody oil pan
Ls6 intake, fuel rail, injectors and throttle body
Wiring harness modified, thanks to LT1 swap!
    4l60E transmission

I already did VATS removal and found Bin/xdf to adjust but have a few things pending:
    Pcm programming/tune.
    1) need to figure out speedometer w tire dimensions
    2) need to adjust tune to specific injectors

    3) put everything together, engine and transmission
    4) install

It's coming along nicely, maybe will have done this year!

    Hello,
I have an '84 Z51 that I parked back in '94 and thinking of reviving. It ran well when I parked it but it will need to be completely gone through and I have been thinking of an LS swap for it. I'm interested in knowing more about the installation. If you wanted to start a thread here somewhere that would be great :)

Yeah, I've thought about it. I might try to start a thread, just seems like there's not enough time in the day. I've got 2 little ones at home that take up a lot of my "free time". If you've got a Facebook account, you should join the LS Swapped C4 Corvettes group. Here's a link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2284...517/?ref=share
It's a relatively new group, but it's already got some good info and guys that have already done the swap.

Noob question....What is the best way to remove VATS? Can it be done using TunerPro?

Yes, it can. Lots of discussions around here on how to do it. And free, too.
