    LiL Yellow

    I utilize the LS droid & Tunerpro. PCM 411 & OS 2165.
This is the first Experience I will have with PCM/ECM at this level. I believe I have all the needed .bin's & the matching .xdf, however I have yet to change anything over. Just gathering info and such until I feel comfortable to do what I have planned.
-No vats, keep hug-a-tree features, manual, switch VIN correspondingly, and utilize E-fan controls.
My main goal is the have the 1994 S-10 work truck with a to stockish spec of a 2002 Chevy PCM.
I want to be able to hook up my Autel and when it decodes the vehical, it will do so as a 94 S-10 w/L31 5.7, W/NV3500. Plus I can use the scan tool to be able to bleed my ABS! Yeap, going to remove the ABS of the 94 stock to the 02 version also. I am in the process of converting the dash & heater box to a 02 S-10 currently. Lot of spot welds!! When labor part is said and done it will be a 'plug & play!'
And some picture of converting the gas tank to 2002 L31 EFI fuel pump. STOCKISH....LoL

Thanks TAYTO for the question! It uses a different type of set up for the EVAP system, type of fuel lines, fuel line connectors, elect. connector.20200710_070233[1].jpg However, I thought about doing such. I got 3 on hand, one is just the pump in a box on the shelf! My goal is to have a 1994 body with 2002 powertrain and interior.20200708_215307[1].jpg A few of spot welds later!!20200710_070412[1].jpg I understand there is a lot of ways to do some of what I am doing, I like it to be as factory as a 02 L31 could be in a 94 s-10. The feed back I get the most around here locally is "why not a SBC with a carb", second being "why not a LS".

There are several options when doing an engine swap.

The LSx swap is very popular and well supported by the aftermarket. The L31 swap is likely a more budget friendly option and likely has fewer headaches to get everything to work than the LSx. Re-using the 94 computer converted to MPFI mode to control the L31 is another option, if the goal is keeping costs as low as possible.

The knowledge and experienced gained by converting to the OBD2 '0411 / L31 engine is PRICELESS!

Yes yes. Still haven't played with changing the .bin file any. Just want to be comfortable knowing what I am doing when I begin that part of the process.
