    Need help with calibration mismatch

Hello, i'm pretty new to messing with ls droid and tuner pro. I'm trying to delete vats for my 05 silverado. I was able to read my pcm with a obdlink mx. Bin file was 12592618. i googled and advanced searched for a XDF file but read from a few threads that its not available yet. I also read that a 04 bin 12587603 is a universal. From that point i found a matching bin and xdf for 12587603. I figured out how to get the vats turned off.

Next i went to write the pcm, but got a calibration mismatch. OS numbers are different.
how would i go about changing my original os number to match my new bin file?

I seen a recent post on this but didn't understand it to well.

    Thanks
    Richard

Did you change something inside 12587603 that it is said to not change? Where did you get 12587603? Could it have been damaged by somebody else?

My copy of 7603 writes to my 1 megabyte lab rat PCM with ease using either LS Droid or PCM Hammer by way of an OBDLink MX+ Bluetooth device.

Only thing I changed was the vats, to a number 2. I got the xdf from thread from March 2020. I figured it was good and pretty recent. Would you try a different xdf?
And having different os numbers matter ?

A different OS than your original OS is OK as long as the new OS is the same memory size. The new OS and its XDF must match. Otherwise, you would be changing things in wrong areas of memory and not know it.

I can send you copies of mine that I know are good. PM me your email address and I will send them to you.

before working on the bin file did you add the 1meg checksum plugin in tuner pro? If not the bin is saving in the wrong size and you can not write it back with LS driod
