When you change only vin you have to turn ign off, B+ on for at least 30 seconds for the change to take effect. If you are cloning the changes are saved immediately.

156 Os have 3 different calibrations for manual. A camaro a vette and some truck. Which one you need. We can segment swap the hell out of this OS.

OK, I'm willing to try that, I have a working 9381344 OS loaded right now that I was just starting to tune but if everyone is using the 156 I probably should too, once I get it to work.

I need the Camaro manual transmission OS. Is that the same one that Carl posted?

That is what you ask for.

I'll try it again then, being sure to cut power as you say.

Probably not necessary to comment, but keep notes of changes, rename and save file often. Example, yourfile_A.xxx yourfile_B.xxx etc

I'll do that. Right now I've got a file name for the file in use, and another (x) for the test file. Also a backup file saved in a couple of places for the in use file, hopefully that will be enough, at least for now. Once I get the tune closer I'll start making periodic backups every time I make a significant change.

Got a question though, maybe one of you has the answer. I'm not getting any reading on my PID for the RPM in VCM scanner. Where do you go to turn that on? (I managed to do that with the EGT for my WBO2 but have forgotten where it is.)

hi folks, im new here. can i use this 2002 trans am BIN or should i just segment swap the transmission? i have a 1983 firebird (trans am, knight rider) and i personally installed a 5.3L truck engine. i have the 2005 L59 flex engine and im using a 2002 LM7 harness with injector adapters. im using a non electronic 700R4 older auto transmission and currently it runs and drives. im just learning tuning and ive successfully done a couple BIN reads and several OS+BIN writes with LSDroid and TunerPro. im using a p01 from a 2002 silverado 122xx156 OS, but its for an automatic transmission. i was getting several error codes for the electronic transmission such as TCC solenoid and VSS error and more all relating to the missing 4L80 since i have a 700R4 older auto. maybe if i use this manual transmission BIN file i wont get the TCC and shift solenoid errors. i did learn to turn off the transmission error reports and disable VATS, and remove the PRND neutral switch in tunerPro, but im considering trying the manual shift BIN or the manual shift transmission segment?
