Bench Power Supply for 16188051 PCM

What is a good bench power supply for up and down loading bins? I've made a bench setup and used a battery before but a power supply would be easier. Thanks

in my experience anything that puts 12v and over an amp will do fine
surely you have some wall wart laying around
i made eehack with such a wall wart
alternatively a 'trickle charger' type battery charger and a leftover car battery, even a half dead one, will do fine

An old pc power supply will have 5v and 12 regulated power and a fan to meet DIY spec
