I'm working on my 3rd CJ7 rebuild and this time I went with an LS swap. The build is mostly complete and I'm trying to learn how to tune the engine myself. It's a mostly stock LM7 out of 2004 Tahoe. I had Novak remove VATS a few years ago when I did the install, and now I'm trying to do a lot more myself. I'm using PCM Hammer to read/write bins and TunerPro to edit them. I have been lurking your site for awhile and I appreciate all the good info.

Right now I'm working on turning off all the nannies and trying to convert my current tune into a manual transmission. I'm having some problems and will post up a bin if/when I get it running right.

What I've done so far:
Turn off Abuse Mgmt.
Disable Evap codes (I have kept the cannister, but plugged line at intake manifold)
Adjusted Idle


What I'm working on now:
Delete 2 rear o2 sensors so I can remove cats
Do CKP relearn (can't do now as PCM thinks it's always in 2nd gear)
Play with DFCO to reduce popping on downshift
Play with everything else in the tune.....
