Using Tuner pro with vista and XP

The short of it is my laptop has vista but no excel but my home unit has xp with excel. I loaded my bin on a chip with flash and burn2 and figured i just plug in the flash and upload it to the xp PC so i could use excel and work on the VE. All my ve is reading 99.6. So i then made a new bin with the XP pc and tried uploading it on the vista and now it is a different ve numbers again but way closer than the other way. If i email the bin to myself i can open it on both units and all is good. Both units are running TP ver 5.00.7774.00 and $8d.XDF from here. My guess is the operatings systems are screwing with my info? Any thoughts

Something is screwing with you! Flash drive is just dumb memory, TP works the same on all operating systems, I'd get fresh XDF downloaded on both PCs and fresh bin to work on with one, then always remember to save bin after and change. I don't know how the OS could do this but I do know a wrong XDF could? HTH!

Wait a minute, are you entering a number higher then 100 in VE? It will change to max 99.6 in TP

At this point you may want to start with fresh bin. Or your backup/last update till you get problem fixed... who knows what is accurate on that bin on which PC. Or ask someone to compare.

I still can't think of why/how this could happen with same XDF on both?

You could try using the free OpenOffice calc.

Anyone tired it with TunerPro RT?

There's 293 bytes differant in your bin to stock, most are ok as spark and VE BLM etc and expected. But there is four bytes changed which are not defined! So unless you know what those 4 bytes were I'd say loose the bin and start fresh. Your VE tables look fine whether stock or modified, but your spark tables are screwed.

    Something bad happened.
