hello, I need advice about a camshaft swap in a 1992 Corvette. Installed a Lunati 219-227 @ 50 515/530 lift 112 LCA. Car is running but has no noticeable lope/chop. Could this be because of a conservative tune or due to the big resonator on the exhaust? Thanks
that little cam is probably too small to give you any lope. people don't tune in 'more lope' but you could play with idle timing advance to try to create some light misfires so it sounds like a big cam. definitely opening your exhaust up will help you hear every little exhaust pulse, though, if that's what you're looking for. usually when a car has a smooth idle i think that's a good thing?
