No MIL function after new programming / 92 Corvette LT1 engine

    Hello!

    I got a new programming for my 92 Corvette LT1 engine (it's in a 69' Camaro).

After programming the 27SF512 chip with a TL 866 CS there's no functiion of the MIL ligth. I installed this light as a LED.

With the old program there's no problem.

At least the car starts and runs, but I only drive around the block because of a problem with the header gasket. But for these few miles throttle response etc. was ok.

The guy who programmed the chip is very experienced, told me the MIL function should work. The software for programming is TunerProRT.
Something could be wrong with the programming?

At least only two of eight chips worked for programming. The other ones always had a malfunction.

    Thanks for any tipps!

Did he create a new program based on your original program, or did he create one on his own without your program? If the latter, perhaps whatever ECM he started from had a different MIL pin or functionality.

I don't have any experience with the '92 ECMs yet so I can't be of precise help, but that would be my first thought. After that I'd want to check the MIL pin on the ECM with a multimeter to see what it's actually doing.
