i have reports back that the P66 V6 flash has successfully written without bricking but does need more testing. i wonder if anyone can help me find some V6 people that are brave? i haven't seen robertisaar around in a million years, and i don't really know any others.

new version up, fixed that keepalive (i think, needs corvette testing), few more ui improvements and code cleanup etc. the log is faster/simpler/better. P66 has selective write now (untested). i think that p66 write should be good to go but someone other than kur4o needs to test it for sure. fixed the visualizer so it actually draws all the way to the end. you know where to find it.

If your ECM is already damaged, this tool will not fix it. Is this the replacement ECM? The pictures show that it isn't connecting.

Not sure what you were trying to fix exactly so I got a log of loading kernel, letting it keepalive, then unloading the kernel, letting it keepalive, then killing the connection. This was on the '94.

Still causes the dash to freak while the kernel is loaded every time the keepalive happens, but this goes away as soon as you unload the kernel, and doesn't happen as long as the keepalive isn't happening (such as during a read/write operation).

I couldn't clearly understand what to do to do a good test of your flashhack program,
if you can please explain to me step by step the procedure to use it?
this ECM has been successfully tuned to winflash and works very well in the car, the ECM of which habal sherlock is now in a workshop undergoing a flash chip change
I am at your service and in the best position to help you develop the software

I see from your other thread that you are currently using an FTDI cable that uses 3.3V TTL to interface with the ALDL port. I wonder if this is the cause of some issues, since ALDL is 5V TTL.

I'm not sure if I actually have a 5v or 3.3v cable because a friend sold it to me and don't use the link I posted in that thread.
can I check it with a voltage meter I guess?

Ah okay, well glad you didn't use the cable you linked to because it wouldn't work.

As for reading/writing, I don't have any issues but I'm not using the V6, I have an LT1.

Well, I'll keep an eye out for any updates,
Well now I am really looking for a method to restore the flash chip without removing it from the board so I would avoid the fatigue of taking my ECM to an electronics workshop to have the flash chip changed
