Searching for an .adx for 1227165 with a $53 mask

    Hello all,

I've got an 88 S10 2.5L that I've shoehorned into a 57 Hillman Husky. I've got it running but a few things are not quite right and I'm attempting to log data. According to Mark's spreadsheet this thing should be a $53 mask, but I can't find any files anywhere for this. I can get some data with an A139 but some values don't appear correct, IAT/battery voltage/engine runtime/spark advance for example.

    Any suggestions?

Many thanks, I've included my latest log just in-case it help further ID.

The Mask ID can usually be found in the .Bin file if you have the ability to read the Prom.

Wow, getting the eprom pulled out of that socket adapter was fun, what a ridiculous setup that is!

Eprom dump attached, it's a 27C128 with a Delco ANCZ 3741 ID sticker.

So the value of 0x008 is 53.

If i was smart could I turn this eprom dump into the appropriate .adx file?

    Minor update:

With some extra time and a really nice day yesterday I dumped out my pile of decades old eproms and found a few 27C256s. With one of those I decided to flash the .bin from a 91 just to see what would happen, well it fired right up and the data stream looks good! No road testing yet, but upcoming weather looks good and I'll have some time to tune and test.

    91 files I used:

So after buying an APU1 and running into hosts of other problems I ran into this thread:

Looks like the 7165 TBIs just might not be workable, including the $94.
