    Recommendation for custom LS harness?

    Hello,

This may sound strange but I'm looking for recommendations for a custom harness builder. A friend has an LS swapped into an S10 and needs to complete the project. He asked me to build a harness and I happily volunteered to help... three years ago. I cannot seem to find time to complete this or many of my other projects so my friend is now looking for a pay-for solution. Feel free to reply here or PM if you can take on, or know someone who can take on, this task.

    Thanks,
    Shannen

Wiring Specialities is pretty much the go-to when I think of wiring harnesses. They do a lot of LS-swap stuff into various chassis, including into other GM products. I would check them out first.

I'm running an engine harness from "PSI Conversions". No complaints. They have a questionnaire process to define the exact connectors, fuel injector wiring, the need for PCM control of air conditioning, etc. They nailed it perfectly for me.

Doesn't Dave W build LS harnesses? The pictures I've seen of his work looked really nice but I have no 1st hand experience.

    Hi Shannen,
I think Dave W does harness stuff and I can help with a harness too. Do you want to modify a stock harness or do you want one built from scratch. Do you want it standalone or integrated into something? LS1,2 or 3 style. What ECM/PCM? Where does is need to be mounted, engine bay or interior? Is this cable throttle or electronic? Is it 4L60e or manual or ?
    Thanks,
    -Carl

    Thanks, everyone.

The original truck was 2002 2.2 / 5 speed. It's currently 4.7 / 4L60E. The owner is hoping the stock ecm location cn be used and most of the stock in-cab circuits will work.

I'll check out the vendors listed. I believe Dave does harnesses but contributes a bunch of effort to help keep this site going that I probably won't bother him for anything else. lol.
