1989 Camaro 350 TPI engine in my 1964 Corvette.

I recently purchased a 1964 Corvette that someone (in the early 1990's) swapped in a 1989 Camaro 350 TPI engine and a 1988 T5 Camaro transmission. So, I am in the process of learning about the computerized workings of this engine. I found some interesting files posted by Eagle_Mark but cannot download them unless I get registered properly. Thanks

The car runs & drove ok when I bought it in August. Since then I have gotten rid of most of the "non-Corvette stuff". Now I am down to detailing the engine area. The swap was done sometime between 1991-1995 when the car came here to Minnesota from Texas. It looks like it was just driven from '95 until I got it, no further upgrades. Speaking of the T5, it's a non WC model from a '88 Camaro. I have ditched the Camaro shifter and replaced it with a Pro 5 shifter and added a Hurst Corvette style shift lever, this is much nicer to drive! As for the tuning, I am mostly interested in finding out what I have so that I can maintain it in the future. While I am detailing I will change what I don't like (EGR, etc). It does have a little driving glitch, when slowing down from driving speed and the clutch in, it sometimes idles down very low coming close to stalling. That's something to look at, the computer was probably configured pretty well during the swap. I have what I need to play with the 1227165 and will get to that in the spring. Currently I am away from home and doing my homework from a warmer weather location, I'll start working directly on the car in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the inquiry! JB
