More confusion, but things are getting better. The computer is 16196395. The chip code (BCC) is BJLH.

So here's the deal ... in a sunrise in the east and sunset in the west way to thinking (it's just the way things are) ... $OD and $E6 are for the 4L60E transmission. $OE and $31 are for the 4L80E transmission.

The original post indicated a 4L80E, so that would be either $OE or $31.

The BCC BJLH is $OD for the 4L60E.

Please confirm the transmission is a 4L80E as indicated in the original 1st post of this tread. https://m.roadkillcustoms.com/wp-con...on-Diagram.png

Take a picture of the RPO sticker in the glove box too. That will confirm drivetrain.

Ok, progress on the transmission identification

To get on the same sheet go to the gearhead-efi $OD link http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-0D and download the files listed below.

    Advanced $0D TP5 v251.xdf
    A217 $0D TP5 v250.adx

Download the BJLH .bin file in post #17

Load the .xdf, .adx, and .bin file into TunerPro RT and reply back (post) a data log using the files listed in this above.

I'll reply with a summary like I did in post #2. You'll need to "tune" from there on. The history table in TunerPro RT are adequate for tuning, but not filtered like the Excel summary I post.

Dave w, thanks for putting me on the right track. I have a LOT to learn. Here is a new data log with the right parameters this time. I hope to soon get it running as good as I can. Again thanks for your help!

I think I figured some things out. Due to a bad EGR Solenoid, it was causing lean fueling during cruising speeds causing high knock counts. Iv replaced so i'll see what happens next and keep data logging. I want to say thanks to you Dave w for helping me find all the right information out. With out you I would have still been data logging the wrong files. I have been reading a lot of the forums and they are very helpful! I don't have any equipment to burn new chips yet but still need to research a lot more before I get to that point. I think I get the big picture right now with Tunerpro rt. I have so much to learn and iv only put my foot in the door. Thanks again for the help, PlayingwithTBI had sent me your guys way.

I put 4.10s and a Detroit locker in it. Much better than that gov lock I think. I guess with the 35s it brings it back around the 3.73 range.
