I used blucats with a large learning curve, but I got it dialed in. This was just a better starting bin for higher gearing for a transmission tuning newbie to see the difference between say (BJLF 3.42) and (BJLJ 4.10) to see basically what changes and how to improve. I also did install dip switches in the VSSB and also tuned timing/fueling and even added the electric fan code. I will say the 16197427 ECM is much nicer than the 1227747 in terms of idling vs off idle and the shift points on the 4l60e are much better at being tuned than with the 700r4 governor weights, springs and TV cable adjustments. I should have went with the 4l60e/7427 combo to begin with... My gas mileage even bumped up about 1.5mpg and I have better throttle response, but I did put in a different cam (Lunati Voodoo 10120700) so hard to tell what actually did it.
