I am a transmission specialist and owner of Cardinal Transmission Service in Columbus Tx. I built a 1997 S10 extended cab with a LM7 and a manual trasmission. I'm a total gearhead and have been for the last 20 years. I am, however, sort of new to any sort of PCM tuning. So on that note, I am grateful to have found this place and would be happy to answer any and all geartrain questions.

One common power train swap question from previous posts:
4L60E electronics when swapping an OBD2 engine to an OBD1 transmission has surfaced a few times over the years gearhead-efi first started. For example 1994 K1500 getting a 2002 5.3 LM7 DBC engine transplant. What changes are needed to the 1994 K1500 4L60E so the 2002 computer can correctly control shifting?
